Susanna Space is a writer, journalist, editor and communications and brand consultant. Her journalism and essays have been published at Guernica, Longreads, Searchlight New Mexico, Source New Mexico, The Rumpus, The Los Angeles Review, and elsewhere.
As a journalist, Susanna has covered education, the opioid crisis, politics, animal rights, meteor events, and more. Her essays have been shortlisted for several prizes and she has received support from the Barbara Deming Memorial Fund, which provides grants to feminist women in the arts.
A longtime communications consultant to businesses and nonprofits, Susanna is publicity director with the Santa Fe International Literary Festival. She also works as a freelance writer, editor, and publicist.
